ESOL & CITIZENSHIP

Our intensive ESOL classes provide structured English language instruction 
​for beginning & intermediate English learners.

Intensive English Classes

We offer free intensive ESOL classes all throughout the year to help students improve their English communication skills. 

MORNING CLASSES: Register with Dadivis.
Our free intensive ESOL classes meet weekday mornings & are open to Beginner & Intermediate levels. Classes will be held in person with some online meetings.
​Funding  is provided by the ​​​Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD).

EVENING CLASSES: Register with Jose.
We offer online intensive ESOL classes in the evenings. These classes are open to Beginner & Intermediate levels.
​Funding is provided by the New York State Office for New Americans (ONA).

Intensive classes are free and available to students with immigrant status (including undocumented students). Students must live in New York City.

ESOL/Citizenship Classes

Our online ESOL*/Citizenship classes help English Language Learners prepare for the U.S. naturalization exam & interview while practicing their English communication skills.

Note: Students must have a valid green card, be English Language Learners with high beginner or intermediate English, & live in New York State. 

*ESOL - English for Speakers of Other Languages
