Become a Student Member of the International Center

Benefits
Student members of the International Center can learn & practice English; meet English-speaking volunteers; learn about American history, life, & culture; access social services; & connect with people from all over the world. 

As a student member of the International Center, you have access to the following:
  • Intensive English classes at four levels, offered throughout the year
  • 40+ open enrollment English classes per week
  • U.S. Citizenship preparation classes & support
  • One-on-one conversation partner program 
  • Workshops on topics including technology, financial literacy, job skills, writing, & more
  • Trips & tours
  • & more

Registration Fees
  • Membership is free for all students with immigrant status. This includes Green Card holders, refugees, asylum seekers, DACA/DAPA, TPS, other similar statuses, & those without documentation.

Note: Membership is available to adult English learners ages 18 & older. All proficiency levels, backgrounds, races, religions, orientations, gender identities, & immigration statuses are welcome. Students must currently live in or near New York City.
